The World Affairs Council of Inland Southern California is the region’s passport to the world. Nonpartisan and not-for-profit, the Council is an educational membership organization devoted to learning more about global and international issues and their impact. The Council depends on membership commitment and donations for its work. Your membership and financial support help the Council access top-level global actors as our speakers and offer programs and opportunities to the whole community from students to retirees.
In this age of sound bite news, people from all walks of life are drawn
to World Affairs Council’s in-depth programs analyzing multiple aspects
of complicated issues. No matter what your primary international
interest, this is an opportunity for you to hear and discuss
perspectives and insights with global political leaders, journalists,
policy specialists, and business and trade officers. Some programs such
as Great Decisions are designed to not only learn, but to share your
ideas and policy option with others. The Council does not take positions
on issues, but encourages public discussion of many points of view.
There is a global - local connection for almost every topic. Events and
issues in one part of the world have significant local consequences.
Just as the WAC’s founders believed 50 years ago, making these
connections central to our thinking improves our daily business,
political, and social decisions and builds our own and the region’s

The amounts below are for a 12-month membership beginning when your payment is received.
